Adam Kourajian, Sartell, was recently named to the dean’s list at the University of Notre Dame, Ind.

Six Sartell students were recently named to the fall dean’s list at the University of Minnesota-Mankato.
They are as follows: Spencer Ahrendt, sophomore; Nicole Carlson, junior; Elizabeth Gerads, senior; Krista Heim, junior; Joshua Kremer, junior; and Briana Peterson, senior.

Two Sartell students were recently named to the fall dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average at the University of Minnesota-Mankato.
They are as follows: Kathryn Haglin, sophomore, and Sarah Schellinger, senior.

Alexander Mastellar, Sartell, was recently named to the fall dean’s list at Hamline University’s School of Law, St. Paul. To be honored, students must earn a 3.5 grade-point average.

Bryan Groff, Sartell, was recently named to the fall dean’s list at the University of Minnesota-Mankato.

Sartell Sabre dancers recently received all-conference honors.
The all-conference jazz honorees are as follows: Ashley Bartlett, Natalie Hughes, Lexi Phillips, Cassie Schiller, Amanda Smith and Janelle Thienes. Honorable mentions are: Sarah Erickson and Catherine Wohletz.
The all-conference high-kick honorees are as follows: Jordyn Brandt, Nicole Grant, Natalie Hughes, Janelle Thienes, Megan Walz and Catherine Wohletz. Honorable mentions are: Natalie McIntire and Jenna Runge.

They are as follows: Harrison Gerdes, son of Jeffrey and Terri Gerdes, sophomore, biology and biochemistry major; Alex Hanson, son of Ron and Michelle Hanson, senior, biology major; Luke Inveiss, son of Ojars and Elizabeth Inveiss, senior, accounting and Hispanic studies major; Matthew Peckskamp, son of Tom and Mary Jo Peckskamp, senior, biology and theology major; and Austin Reischl, son of Alan and Sherri Reischl, senior, accounting major.
To be honored, students must earn a 3.8 grade-point average or higher.

They are as follows: Jessica Alkire, daughter of Mary and Doug Alkire, freshman, undeclared major; Rachel Givens, daughter of Patricia and James Doran, senior, English major; Nikki Orth, daughter of Holly Orth, sophomore, communication and English double major; and Ariel Reischl, daughter of Alan and Sherri Reischl, junior, nursing major.
To be honored, students must earn a 3.8 grade-point average or higher.

Eight Sartell students were recently named to the fall dean’s list at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
They are as follows: Yazan Alkhatib, Melanie Allickson, Carrie Halverson, Charles Harrison, Will Jensen, Matthew Nahan, Ryan Nahan and Megan Udermann.
To be honored, students must earn a 3.66 grade-point average or higher.

Two Sartell students recently received the Community of Learners Scholarship for the 2011-2012 academic year from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.
They are as follows: Kayla Sattler and Adam Zenzen.

Sartell Middle School Math Counts team placed third in the chapter competition at St. Cloud State University. They qualified as a wild-card team and may have the opportunity to advance to the Minnesota State Competition.
The math count team members are as follows: Jonathan Oleson, placed ninth; Gopi Ramanathan, placed 11th; Rory Spanier, placed 31st; and Austin Sura, placed third and will advance to the state competition as an individual.
Approximately 130 students participated in the Chapter Competition.

Michael Heim, 14, Sartell, was recently honored by the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program. He collected an SUV full of paper towels, napkins, disposable diapers, toilet paper and other paper products for a battered women’s shelter.

The Sartell winter wonderland coronation was recently held. The royalty are as follows: 12th-grade royalty, Hayley Schuchard and Matt Davis, Nicole Grant and Ricky Satterness, Tarin Anding and Alex Wolhart, Alexis Tebben-Heath and Ryan Bidinger, Raelin Miller and Quin Reinert, Laura Miller and Jake Skudlarek, Kiley Sullivan and Alex Omann and Niki Gibney and Dexter Williams;
11th-grade royalty, Ashton Haider and Jared Forst; 10th-grade royalty, Katie Stuttgen and Chase Sobania; ninth-grade royalty, Abby Spanier and Nick Jensen; junior royalty, Faith Wenshau and George Durrwachter; staff royalty, Andrea Potter and Ben Hoffman.

Jennifer Spellacy, daughter of Cheryl Bounds-Spellacy and Patrick Spellacy of Rice, Minn. Spellacy is a junior elementary education major at the College of St. Benedict.
