Resolution authorizing Summary Publication of Ordinances 52.31, 52.32, 52.33
(Central Business District, Highway 75 Business District, General Business District)

Recitals:

Whereas, on Nov. 17, 2011, the City Council for the City of St. Joseph amended Ordinances 52.31, 52.32, 52.33; and

Whereas, the City of St. Joseph desires to publish the Ordinance by Summary Publication; and

Whereas, the proposed amended allows for commercial buildings to include a drive-thru contingent to acceptance of the site plan and removes the requirement for Planning Commission approval.

Therefore, it is hereby resolved:
1. The City Council has reviewed the proposed Summary Publication and finds the summary of the Ordinances clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinances.

2. The City of St. Joseph directs the city administrator to publish the Ordinances by Summary Publication.

Adopted this 17th day of Nov., 2011, by a vote of 5 in favor and 0 opposed.
