Resolution authorizing summary publication of Ordinance 52.27
(R1, Single Family)

Recitals:

Whereas, on Dec. 15, 2011, the City Council for the City of St. Joseph amended Ordinance 52.27 Subd. (b), entitled “R1, Single Family”; and

Whereas, the City of St. Joseph desires to publish the Ordinance by Summary Publication; and

Whereas, the proposed amended grants an exception to the owner-occupied provisions for property owners serving or being called to active duty.

Therefore it is hereby resolved:
1. The City Council has reviewed the proposed Summary Publication and finds the summary of the Ordinance clearly informs the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance.

2. The City of St. Joseph directs the city administrator to publish the Ordinance by Summary Publication.

Adopted this 15th day of Dec., 2011, by a vote of 5 in favor and 0 opposed.
